Cloaked in Charade

Cloaked in Charade is a 81-episode JoyReels short drama. Three years ago, at Glenbay, Erin Castro caught Aaron Grant and her half-sister Arya in an affair and ran into a sudden fire. She lost the jade pendant her mother had left her while trying to save Kael Lopez, the eldest son of the Lopez family. Upon waking up in the hospital, Erin discovered that her mother had tragically perished in the fire while searching for her, and the precious jade was also lost. Determined to uncover the truth behind the fire for her mother's sake and to locate the jade, which was crucial for inheriting Acme Group, Erin feigned ignorance and endured the mistreatment within the Castro family, gradually piecing together the truth she sought. Fast forward to today, Kael, who lost the use of his legs in the fire, still cannot forget Erin, who has become foolish after saving him. He decides to propose to the Castros, ostensibly to marry Arya, their second daughter, but his intentions lie with Erin. Disgusted by Kael's immobility, Arya and her mother push Erin to marry him, believing she is mentally regressed. After learning from Rhea, the vice CEO of Acme Group, that the jade seems to have ties to the Lopez family, Erin devises a plan to marry into the Lopez family to investigate the jade secretly. With their own secrets in mind, Erin and Kael embark on a life of mutual testing and assistance. As the affair between Arya and Aaron is exposed and the truth about the Glenbay fire is revealed, Erin finally finds the jade pendant her mother had left her. Together with Kael, they reclaim Acme Group. After enduring so much together, their bond grows more robust, and they eventually become a couple.
