In their deepest despair, Adelina slowly recovered. Regaining her memory, she worked with Felix to expose Landen's crimes and finally exonerate Ruben. Ultimately, Melinda's cancer diagnosis was found to be mistaken. The family noodle shop reopened, and after enduring profound hardship, they were finally reunited.
