Failure Awakens His Superpowers

Harry Chandler used to be the richest man in Riverdale. Then his wife and her lover killed him, and the story picks up from there with a body that is no longer his own. Failure Awakens His Superpowers is a revenge fantasy about a man who loses everything, comes back in a different shape, and starts taking it all back.

Premise

The synopsis lays out the fall plainly. Harry's wife and her lover kill him, and after a face exchange with an ordinary person, his life drops to the bottom. He is not finished, though. The story gives him two motives: revenge on the people who betrayed him, and the need to avenge his murdered mother. To rebuild, he gets close to Sylvia, the CEO of Haven Group, and uses a superpower to make his fortune again. The structure is clear from the start: a fall, a disguise, and a long climb back to the top.

Characters

Harry is the protagonist, a former tycoon who becomes an outsider in his own story. His wife and her lover are the villains who took his life, and their betrayal gives the revenge plot its emotional core. Sylvia is the CEO of Haven Group, the business leader Harry gets acquainted with as he rebuilds. Her role matters because she is the bridge between his old power and his new plan. The mother who was murdered is a motive rather than an active character, but she shapes everything Harry does.

Main arc

The arc has three parts. First comes the fall, where Harry is murdered and his face is exchanged. Second is the rebuilding, where he uses his superpower and his connection to Sylvia to climb back up. Third is the reckoning, where he gets his revenge and takes back what was lost. Convention for a rebirth-and-revenge story is that the hero's power is revealed in stages, so each stage of his climb shows a bigger reveal about what he can do. Ninety-five episodes give room for the rebuilding and the payback to unfold in full.

Themes & tropes

Revenge is the central theme, supported by the murdered mother and the wife's betrayal. Supernatural covers the superpower, which turns a tycoon's comeback into something more dramatic than ordinary business success. The CEO tag fits Sylvia and the corporate world she runs. The fall-and-rise structure gives the story its emotional rhythm, because every step back up feels earned.

Why viewers watch

The premise is easy to understand and satisfying to follow. A rich man is betrayed, disguised, and rebuilt, and each step invites the viewer to cheer for the comeback. The superpower adds a fantasy edge that sets it apart from a standard boardroom story. Fans of revenge dramas will enjoy watching the wife and her lover face the consequences of what they did, and the mix of corporate scheming with a hidden power keeps the 95 episodes moving. The appeal is the satisfaction of watching a betrayed man reclaim everything he lost.
