The Red Thread Never Lies

The Red Thread Never Lies is a 30-episode GoodShort short drama. At ten years old, Elsie suddenly began seeing red lines connecting the tops of men and women’s heads. They weren’t symbols of destined love—they only appeared when two people had slept together. She witnessed her father’s affair with her own eyes while her mother endured it in silence for years. From then on, Elsie chose her partners based on one thing alone: whether their heads were clean.Seven years later, she chose Lucas, whose head was completely blank. Their wedding was set for the next day.But then Elsie saw a red line stretching straight from Tessa’s head to her fiancé’s—and just the night before, when he drove Elsie home, his head had still been clean.Elsie called off the wedding.Lucas’s family surrounded her home, forcing her to put on the wedding dress and threatening her with breach-of-contract penalties and public humiliation. Dressed in black, Elsie walked into the banquet hall, played the surveillance footage for everyone to see, and used the red lines to expose the long-buried secrets of the entire family. The wedding became a courtroom.
