In Labor, While He Waited
In Labor, While He Waited is a 25-episode ShortMax short drama. My water broke out of nowhere, and every minute counted. But my husband ignored the danger—busy helping my best friend dry her spray tan and polish her heels. When internal bleeding started, he pushed me back, calling me dramatic and waiting on her phone to charge. Desperate to save my unborn child, I sent a midnight text to the only man I could trust: "Make it in time, and you're the dad." As my life slips away at the ER, someone unexpected arrives to claim the pen—and us.
