Premise

Grace has lived with a lifetime of regrets, and when she is reborn she is determined to make amends. The first thing she does is turn her attention to her pregnant daughter-in-law, Lily. She cares for Lily with a fierce protectiveness that the earlier version of her family never saw.

The story then takes a harder turn. Grace's son, Jack, goes missing, and the family is thrown into fear. Grace and Lily have to support each other while greedy relatives move in to take advantage. The synopsis promises that the two women will find peace and happiness, so the drama is built around that hope.

Characters

Grace is the centre of the show. She carries the regrets of her first life, and she spends the second one trying to be a better mother and mother-in-law. Her protectiveness toward Lily is the clearest sign of how much she has changed.

Lily is pregnant and vulnerable at the start, and she is also the person who keeps Grace steady. The two women lean on each other, and their bond is the emotional anchor of the drama.

Jack is the missing son, and his absence drives the central mystery. The greedy relatives are the people who see the family's trouble as an opportunity, and they make the middle of the story tense.

Main arc

The show opens with Grace's rebirth and her promise to make things right. Early episodes focus on her care for Lily, which shows how her priorities have shifted. The domestic scenes build a quiet foundation before the bigger problems arrive.

When Jack disappears, the story moves into a search and a fight against the relatives who want a share of what the family has. Grace and Lily have to trust each other while facing threats from outside. The synopsis does not spell out how Jack's disappearance is resolved, so the final stretch should be read as a test of whether the family can hold together.

Themes & tropes

The main theme is redemption through family. Grace is not defined by her regrets, but by what she does in her second chance. The Rebirth tag fits, since she gets to correct her mistakes, and the show uses that to make her care for Lily feel earned.

The Pregnancy tag points to the expectant mother at the centre of the household, and it gives the early episodes a steady, nurturing tone. The Family Feud tag reflects the greedy relatives, who turn the family's difficulties into a fight over money and position. Convention for family dramas with a missing member is that the search and the in-fighting run side by side, and this one follows that structure.

Why viewers watch

Viewers come for the relationship between Grace and Lily. Two women who start from different places and learn to rely on each other make a compelling pair, and the show gives both of them room to grow. The missing son adds suspense without taking over the story.

The drama suits anyone who likes a family story with a rebirth twist and a strong emotional core. Across 84 episodes, it has space to explore grief, loyalty, and the slow repair of a family that has been pulled apart.
