Tide & Truffle

Premise

Given a second chance at life, Luna Carter comes back to the day she abandoned her children. The regret is immediate. She once hated Felix Scott, and now she wants to make things right with him and raise the kids well. The story unfolds on an island military camp, where her cooking begins to change daily life.

The opening sets up a clean reset. A woman who walked away from her family now has a chance to do the opposite, and the show lets that choice drive the whole premise.

Characters

Luna is the emotional center of the series. Her regret gives her a clear motive, and her new attitude toward Felix Scott shows how much she has changed. Felix is the man she once hated and now wants to repair things with. The children are a key part of the story, though the synopsis names no more of them. The island camp adds a supporting world of soldiers and locals whose lives she touches through food and kindness. Her relationships rebuild one plate at a time.

Main arc

The arc follows a woman trying to undo past harm. Her cooking leads to a seafood business, which gives her independence and a new purpose. Each step improves her relationships, from the children to Felix. Rebirth stories usually build toward a moment where the protagonist must prove the change is real, and this premise sets that up. Second-chance convention suggests the bond with the family slowly returns, though this entry can only confirm the setup. Expect a gentle, warm build rather than a sudden twist.

Themes & tropes

The show centers on redemption and the chance to rewrite a bad decision. Rebirth and Second Chance both describe Luna's return to an earlier day, and Weak to Strong fits her growth from a regretful mother into a capable businesswoman. Fantasy and time travel appear in the genre label, but the synopsis frames the story as a fresh start rather than a clock-based journey. Food and family are the real currency here.

Why viewers watch

Viewers who like a warm, emotional redemption story will find a lot here. The seafood business and island setting give the drama a distinct texture, and Luna's cooking becomes a symbol of her change. The relationship with Felix adds tension that feels personal rather than melodramatic. Across 102 episodes, the show has space to let its characters rebuild trust at a comfortable pace. It's a good pick if you want a story that is hopeful without being naive.
