Ghosted the Lycan King

Falsely accused and on the run, Rowena finds refuge with the Lycan King Cyrus Wulfgar. He takes her in, fights to clear her name, and crowns her his queen. For a time the pack seems to heal around them, and the family they build looks steady.

Premise

The synopsis describes a couple who should have their happy ending. Then Rowena vanishes while carrying Cyrus's twins, and the pack begins to fear that the peace they found may not last. The drama turns on that disappearance and the question of why she left and whether they can be reunited.

Characters

Rowena is the heroine, an outsider who becomes a queen. Cyrus Wulfgar is the Lycan King, a leader whose protection of her defines his reign. The pack is a group of people whose trust depends on the king's judgment. The synopsis names no outright villain, so the antagonist remains undefined in this summary.

Main arc

The opening arc is about rescue and rehabilitation. Cyrus defends Rowena against an accusation that could have destroyed her, and his decision to crown her turns a fugitive into the centre of the pack. That choice gives the first act its warmth.

The disappearance shifts the story into a search. The twins raise the stakes, and the fear inside the pack gives the middle episodes a sense of tension. Since the synopsis ends with that fear, the later episodes probably explain her absence and whether the couple can repair what was broken.

Themes & tropes

The werewolf romance is built on protection and trust. Cyrus chooses to believe Rowena when others doubt her, and the drama asks what that trust costs when it is tested. The Werewolf and Alpha Mate framing puts the male lead in a role of strength and responsibility, while the Historical and Fantasy genres give the world a sense of age and ritual.

Royalty is a natural theme here, since the king and queen are the centre of a pack that depends on their stability.

Why viewers watch

This drama suits viewers who like a werewolf romance with a dramatic reversal in the middle. The early rescue and coronation give a quick emotional payoff, and the disappearance creates a reason to keep watching. The 82-episode length gives the search room. The listing is in English, so the dubbed audio makes the story easy to follow without subtitles.
