Two Years to General

Two Years to General is a 285-episode FlexTV short drama. A native of Jiangsu and Zhejiang, Qin Feng, finds himself unexpectedly transported through time, fulfilling his dream of becoming a member of the Fourth Squad in the Recruit Company of the 402nd Regiment—making up for his past life's regret of being unable to serve due to health reasons. He decisively cuts through the romantic entanglements left by the original owner, instead setting his sights on "making contributions and serving the motherland" as his military goal. After enlisting, Qin Feng unexpectedly awakens two abilities: "System Mimicry" and "Heaven Moves Strong." These allow him to replicate skills such as hand-to-hand combat and blanket folding, while also receiving extraordinary returns for his efforts. Under the strict guidance of Squad Leader Zhao Pengfei, he and his fellow soldiers—including the honest Chen Sanxi, the competitive martial arts graduate Qi Meng, and the flashy rich kid Li Jiasheng—undergo the trials of recruit training. From singing military songs before meals and folding "tofu block" blankets to high-intensity drills like the duck walk and the 3km assessment, he navigates it all. He even skillfully defuses a romantic crisis among his comrades, earning everyone's respect through his wisdom and capability. Facing the intense competition from other squads and the tricky tests from veteran squad leaders, Qin Feng remains steady. He distinguishes himself in both training and daily barracks life, eventually being appointed as the squad's assistant leader. His performance draws competing offers from multiple companies, and step by step, he marches toward his military aspirations, forging his own legendary path in the fervent world of the armed forces.
