A Story with My General Husband is a 99-episode JoyReels short drama. At a very young age, Eve Scott witnessed her mother being killed by her father and stepmother. She was later adopted and raised by the Hart family. When she became an adult, she returned to the Scott family to avenge her mother's death. During that period, she met General John Lang, the son of Governor Lang. John was attracted by Eve's wisdom, composure, and independence, and became extremely obsessive of her. Their feelings for each other became more established through a series of misunderstandings. Just as the couple was about to embark on a path to happiness, John made the painful decision of leaving Eve to fight for his country and eventually sacrificed his life in the war.
