Premise
To escape an Alpha who bought her, Elowyn Froste disguises herself as a boy and enters Ashmoore Academy. She is an Omega, and hiding that fact is now the only thing keeping her safe. Her scent potion gives her cover, but the cover does not hold for long.
The academy plants her in a room with Baron Ortega, the cold and lethal Alpha prince. The synopsis sets up the danger right away: the disguise is thin, the roommate is dangerous, and every day she spends close to him is a risk.
Characters
Elowyn Froste is the Omega at the center. She is desperate and quick-thinking, and the story keeps her pressed between fear and the need to survive. Her potion is the tool that buys her time, and the synopsis shows her counting on it.
Baron Ortega is the cold Alpha prince and her roommate. The synopsis calls him lethal and says he may be her undoing. He is the source of the romantic tension and the greatest threat to her secret.
Main arc
The scent potion fades, and the disguise starts to fail. That loss pushes the story into a tighter space, where Elowyn can't hide and Baron can't ignore what he notices. The synopsis adds a prophecy that names her an Omega hybrid who can shatter every throne.
The prophecy changes the stakes. Her survival is no longer just personal, and the academy becomes a place where power, identity, and attraction collide.
Themes & tropes
Hidden identity is the engine of the show. Elowyn's disguise drives every scene with Baron, and the identity twist tags reflect how much depends on what others believe about her.
The alpha-and-omega dynamic adds romantic and political tension. Revenge appears in the genres, and the prophecy suggests that power structures built on the alpha hierarchy are the real target.
Why viewers watch
Fans of enemies-in-proximity romances will find a strong setup. A roommate who is both attractive and dangerous, a disguise that keeps slipping, and a prophecy that raises the stakes all work together. The premise is quick to grasp and the tension starts early.
The 110-episode run gives the disguise plot room to escalate. Watching Elowyn and Baron circle each other while her secret is at risk is the main pleasure.
